Required a Research Associate

The Institute for Studies in Industrial Development (ISID) is a sponsored institution of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) which has been established to undertake, promote and coordinate research in the area of Industrial Development, Corporate Sector, Trade, Investment & Technology, Labour & Employment, Public Health, Educational Policy & Planning and Media Studies. The Institute requires a Research Associate (on Temporary basis) for its research project entitled 'Effectiveness of Selected Scholarship Schemes for the Improvement in Access and Retention of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Students in Odisha'.

Prospective candidates should have minimum qualification of Masters’ degree in Economics/Education/Sociology/Political Science/Developmental Studies. Preference will be given to candidates having M.Phil. degree, experience of working on primary survey data (particularly on the equity and access issues in education) and have knowledge of SPSS and STATA. The term of appointment would be for a period of 10 months. The position carries a consolidated salary ranging from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month depending upon the qualifications and experience.
